Six Thousand (6,000) coins per minute! Takes less than 9 minutes to empty the large 50,000 coin capacity hopper. That is 2.8 million coins per day for the high volume user! This is Universal's Model 360 High Speed Coin Counter. The Model 360 is one of the fastest coin counters available on the planet.

Rugged construction, dependability and count accuracy are proven throughout the world daily in Mints, Transit Authorities, Casinos, and Banks. To handle the Model 360's exceptional counting speed, Universal has incorporated a twin alternating discharge chute into the machine design. This feature enables continuous machine operations and increased productivity.  Efficiency can be further enhanced by ordering Universal's new automatic switching dual coin chute that can be adjusted to match the operator's processing speed or the processing speed of other coin processing equipment.

Microprocessor Controlled
Universal's CBX Controller uses a microprocessor to regulate the Model 360's counting functions. The CBX Controller allows data input through a sealed, sixteen (16) position, smooth surface keyboard with tactile feedback. Data and count status are viewed on the CBX Controller's two six (6) digit displays. One display indicates present or batch count. The second display acts as a totalizer.  Count quantity is retained in memory and available for recall in case of power failure.

The CBX Controller provides an anti-jam feature that automatically detects and clears coin jams. This is achieved by automatically reversing the coin drive mechanism. In the unlikely event that jam cannot be cleared, the CBX Controller will automatically terminate operation.



Audit Trail and External Integration
The CBX Controller further enhances the mechanical performance of the Model 360 by providing the operator more audit control features. It allows the operator to record transactions on an optional 24 column printer or transmit data to an external computer or PLC via a RS-232 communication port.  Interface cards are also available to allow remote control and signaling with the Model 360 for integration with other processing equipment.
